On July 24-26, the establishment of the standard revision team and the working meeting of the Technical Guidelines for Ductile Iron Pipes in Water Conservancy and Hydropower Projects undertaken by Xinxing Cast Pipe Co., Ltd. were successfully held in Fuzhou. Nearly 20 leaders and experts from the China Water Resources and Hydropower Survey and Design Association, the General Institute of Water Resources and Hydropower Planning and Design of the Ministry of Water Resources, the Yellow River Survey and Design Institute, the Yangtze River Survey and Design Institute, the Beijing Water Affairs Planning Institute, the Yunnan Provincial Water Resources Design Institute, the Fujian Provincial Water Resources Design Institute, the Anhui Provincial Water Resources Design Institute, and the Xinxing Cast Pipe Company attended the meeting.

At the beginning of the meeting, President He Wenxing of Fujian Provincial Water Conservancy Design Institute delivered a welcoming speech to the attending representatives. President He expressed his sincere gratitude for the warm welcome and long-term strong support to everyone, and introduced the basic situation, comprehensive strength, business development, future planning, and other aspects of the institute. He also stated that the holding of this meeting will be of great significance for the application of ductile iron pipes in the water conservancy industry in Fujian Province.

Huang Yueming, Secretary of the Party Committee of Xinxing Cast Iron Pipe Sales General Company, delivered an enthusiastic speech. Huang expressed gratitude to the leaders and experts present for their long-term care and support to Xinxing Cast Iron Pipe Company. At the same time, he introduced typical cases of the company's large-diameter ductile iron pipes in Fujian Province and major water conservancy and people's livelihood projects over the years. He hoped that through the convening of this guideline revision meeting and successful implementation, Make this guideline an important basis for the design, construction, and acceptance of ductile iron pipelines in the water conservancy industry, and reach the advanced level of similar international standards.

Subsequently, Li Xianshe, Deputy Chief Engineer of the Water Resources and Hydropower Planning and Design Institute of the Ministry of Water Resources, introduced the important significance of the revision of this guideline and proposed work guidance and specific requirements to the drafting group. Finally, the drafting group discussed the outline of the guideline revision work, determined the division of labor and work plan progress, as well as the revision and writing outline. The successful convening of this meeting marks the substantive revision stage of the guidelines.

In recent years, with the gradual increase of large-diameter and long-distance water pipelines in the country, ductile iron pipes have been widely used in various water conservancy projects due to their excellent product performance. The revision and successful implementation of the "Technical Guidelines for Ductile Iron Pipes in Water Resources and Hydropower Engineering" will provide strong technical support for the company's market development and application of large-diameter ductile iron pipes in the water conservancy industry, while continuously enhancing the voice and influence of the company and its products in the water conservancy field.
